Payment information is processed securely through third-party payment processors and is not stored directly on Kriib servers except as required for transactional or compliance purposes.

For cleaners, the Kriib Platform may collect location data to enable job discovery, navigation, service coordination, and operational functionality. Location data may be collected while the app is in use, in the background, or when the app is closed, depending on device permissions granted by the user. Users may manage location permissions through their device settings, though limiting location access may affect Platform functionality.
1.1.5 Service Address Information
To book a cleaning or receive services through the Kriib Platform, customers must provide a valid service address. This information is used to coordinate services, assign cleaners, calculate pricing, and facilitate communication related to the requested service. If a service address is not provided, customers will not be able to book a cleaning.
1.2 Information You Choose to Give Us
You may choose to provide additional personal information when using the Kriib Platform. Providing this information is optional, but certain features or services may not function fully without it.
1.2.1 Additional Profile Information
You may choose to provide additional profile details, such as a physical address or profile photo. The information requested may vary depending on the features or services you use.
1.2.2 Additional Location Information
Customers may choose to share their location information with the Kriib Platform to support features such as service coordination, or improved user experience. This information may also be collected when you're not actively using the Kriib app if you enable this through your device settings or permissions.
1.2.3 Information About Others
Such as payment instruments or contact information belonging to another person or information about another resident of your household. By providing us with personal information about others, you certify that you have permission to provide that information to Kriib for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy and you have shared the Kriib Privacy Policy with them.
1.2.4 Other Information
You may choose to provide additional information when you complete forms, update your account, respond to surveys, participate in promotions, communicate with Kriib Support or other users, or otherwise interact with the Platform. This may include information you voluntarily share about your experiences or preferences. This may include health information if you choose to share it with us.
1.3 Information Automatically Collected by Using the Kriib Platform
1.3.1 Usage Information
Details such as bookings made, services added, access dates and times, and other interactions within the platform. We may collect this information even if you haven't created a Kriib account or logged in.
1.3.2 Device Information
Details about your device, such as IP address, hardware and software specifications, unique device identifiers, app version information, device event information, and crash data. This information may also be collected if you haven't created a Kriib account or logged in.
1.3.3 Cookies and Similar Technologies
We use cookies and similar technologies to collect information about your interactions with the Platform.
1.3.4 Transaction Information
When payments are made through the Platform, we automatically collect transaction-related information such as transaction identifiers, payment method type, transaction date and time, payment amount, billing postal code, and other details generated in connection with processing payments. This information is processed by third-party payment providers, including Stripe, as required for payment processing, recordkeeping, and compliance.
1.4 Information We Collect From Third Parties
We may receive personal information about you from third-party sources, as permitted by applicable law and consistent with this Privacy Policy.
1.4.1 Third-Party Applications
If you choose to log in to the Kriib Platform using a third-party service, such as Sign in with Apple, you authorize that service to share certain registration information with us, which may include your first and last name and email address, depending on the information you choose to provide and the permissions you grant.

To the extent permitted by applicable laws, we may obtain background information about cleaners or other users. This may include reports of criminal records or other background checks. For example, we may use your full name and date of birth to perform these checks. Where required by law, background checks will be conducted only with your consent.

If you are invited to the Kriib Platform, the person referring you may submit personal information about you, such as your name and email address.

3.2.2 Property Management Companies
If cleaning services are performed at properties managed by homeowners' associations, building management companies, or similar entities, we may share relevant booking or service-related information as necessary to support access, billing, security, or compliance requirements.

We may share information as necessary to facilitate services booked through the Kriib Platform and related interactions. This may include sharing relevant profile details, service information, and communications between customers and cleaners to enable bookings, service delivery, scheduling, access coordination, and customer support. Information shared is limited to what is reasonably necessary for these purposes.
3.3.2 Comply With Law, Respond to Legal Requests, Prevent Harm, and Protect Our Rights
(i) Disclosure

4.1 Authentication Services
Kriib supports authentication through Sign in with Apple. If you choose to log in using Sign in with Apple, Apple may share limited registration information with us, such as your name and email address, depending on the information you choose to provide and your Apple account settings. Apple's use of your information is governed by Apple's privacy policies.
4.2 Payment Processing Services
Payments on the Kriib Platform are processed by third-party payment providers, including Stripe. When you make or receive payments through the Platform, certain personal and transaction-related information is shared with Stripe to facilitate payment processing, fraud prevention, and compliance with financial regulations. Stripe processes this information in accordance with its own privacy policy and terms.
Kriib does not control Stripe's data practices and is not responsible for how Stripe independently uses or protects your information.
4.3 Property Data Services
To support service pricing, planning, and Platform functionality, Kriib may obtain property-related information, such as estimated square footage, from third-party data providers, including RentCast. This information is used to help calculate service scope and pricing and may be associated with a service address provided by the user.
4.4 Third-Party Terms and Privacy Practices
Third-party services used by Kriib operate independently and are governed by their own terms and privacy policies. Kriib does not control and is not responsible for the privacy practices of these third parties.
5. SMS Communications
If you provide your phone number to Kriib, we may send you transactional SMS messages related to your account and services, including booking confirmations, service updates, cleaner arrival notifications, job completion alerts, and account verification messages. Message frequency varies based on account activity. Message and data rates may apply. Users may opt out at any time by replying STOP and may request assistance by replying HELP.
No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.

You can access and update some of your personal information through your Account settings. You are responsible for keeping your personal information up to date.
7. Retention
7.1 Retention Periods
We retain personal information for as long as reasonably necessary to fulfill the purposes for which it was collected, to provide the Kriib Platform and related services, and as otherwise permitted or required by applicable law.
The criteria used to determine our retention periods include:
- The length of time we have an ongoing relationship with you, such as while your account remains active or you continue to use the Platform, and any additional period during which we have a legitimate business need to retain information, including to operate, protect, or improve our services
- Whether we are subject to legal, tax, accounting, reporting, or regulatory obligations that require us to retain certain information for a specified period of time, such as payment, transaction, or anti-money laundering recordkeeping requirements
- Whether retention is necessary or advisable to protect the rights, safety, and security of Kriib, our users, or others, including to address disputes, enforce our agreements, comply with statutes of limitations, or respond to legal or regulatory inquiries
7.2 Information Shared With Other Users
Information shared between customers and cleaners for the purpose of providing services, such as communications or booking details, may be retained in accordance with this Privacy Policy even after a service is completed or an account is closed, where necessary for customer support, dispute resolution, compliance, or recordkeeping purposes.
Kriib does not operate public profiles, forums, or public review features intended for general public visibility.
7.3 Residual Copies
Even after deletion or account closure, residual copies of personal information may remain in backup, archival, or disaster recovery systems for a limited period of time. These copies are retained solely for backup and security purposes and are not used for active processing except as required by law.
8. Security
We implement reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information against unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction. These measures are intended to support the security and integrity of the Kriib Platform.
However, no method of transmission over the internet or method of electronic storage is completely secure. While we strive to protect personal information, we cannot guarantee absolute security.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time in accordance with applicable law. When we make changes, we will post the revised Privacy Policy on the Kriib Platform and update the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page.

If you do not agree with the updated Privacy Policy, you may stop using the Kriib Platform and close your account.
